Daisy Mpufumira

Founder Quality Plus Locums

Corporate Mental Health Practitioner and Trainer

Daisy has over 30 years of experience in the health and social care sector where she has occupied various roles ranging from frontline clinical roles to service development and operational roles. Her passion is in maximizing the potential of others and helping organizations, build winning teams, and achieve stability and outstanding performance in every season they are. 

Daisy believes in compassionate leadership, valuing people, and flourishing together for the greater good to build agile teams that can stand any adversity and remain sustainable.Her interest in empowering others to maximize their potential landed her in learning and development roles within health criminal service sectors, education, and not-for-profit organizations. She has also been involved in the Personal Development field, supporting young people at risk, professionals looking for career change, and personal challenges in the workplace. More recently she has been supporting work-based learning and training through apprenticeships. Throughout her interaction with people of any age and at every level or race, there is a common theme which is about relationships. People thrive and excel when they feel they belong, are supported, and are valued. Daisy has demonstrable experience in staff retention, reducing sickness and absence costs, and improving productivity by engaging employees from a mental well-being perspective. She is keen on sharing good practices and helping organizations improve mental health at work through training, coaching, and policy development using a whole-organization approach.

As the founder of Quality Plus Locums, Daisy’s mission is to support organizations and individuals to achieve outstanding performance every day.
