Quality Plus Locums – Our Story

2014

Our Journey started within the confirms of Prison service where they were a lots of incidences happening due to staff shortages, high levels of stress across all teams and low morale. We saw stability and team cohesion  as  key success drivers to improving service delivery and experiences for all. This meant we needed to recruit candidates who have the personality and resilience to work in such environment and stay.

This gave rise to our value driven recruitment approach and sourced right candidates who shared our values and demonstrated the right attitude. We realized the staff needed the right tools supported with the right environment for them to perform in at their best. Working alongside our client and understanding what was important to them and their pain points we developed our trouble shooting and value driven 4R approach to recruitment. 4R stands for Right candidate – Right Tools, Right Support and Right environment. Each of these areas is further broken down to pin point what is important for the individual, the team, the patient and the organization.

This approach brought team stability and resulted in reduction in incidences and complaints due to team cohesion and continuity of care. The services were able to attract new workers into permanent positions and retain those who were in position because of stable culture that was supportive. Sickness rates dropped and staff were supportive of each other. 

2020

We established an Agency Support network and collaborated with various subject expert trainers on a voluntary basis to support the well-being of agency workers during the pandemic. This initiatives led to the creation of our team well-being and workforce development programs.

We realized that different groups were impacted differently by the pandemic , and it was was crucial to respond to their unique needs in relevant and relatable ways. Common theme was apparent in all sessions, when we connected with what mattered to people, that’s when we saw real motivation to engage and change.

Our training programs are designed to connect with people and evoke change from within which is  more lasting  hence we use combination of classroom or online delivery with coaching or workplace mentoring.

2023

We added our outsourcing and advisory service allowing us to offer a more holistic service covering  recruitment, retention and workforce development all in one roof making it easier for organizations, individual employers and job seekers to navigate their way round. 

As an organization we care about inclusivity and integrating communities from diverse backgrounds. We believe in giving people, opportunity, supporting them in the way that works for them  and see them grow.

Through our talent search service we connect people with untapped or hidden talents to organizations who are open and willing to offer an life changing opportunity to people  from underrepresented communities back into  employment.

Our practitioner led training and coaching academy supports individual candidates and organizations looking to upskill their  staff.
